We take your annual licence fee, NATIS's R72.00 transaction fee, RTMC's R99.00 delivery fee and our R201.00 admin fee, and spread the total over the months remaining before your disc expires, up to 12. If your disc expires in ten months, it is spread over ten payments, so the fewer months left, the higher each one. Payments are debited from your card each month. Once the full amount is paid we submit your renewal to NATIS and post your new disc to your door.

We spread the same total over the months you have left, so each payment is larger and you are fully paid before your expiry date. If your licence expires in five months, we divide the total by five instead of 12. That only lasts until the renewal: from then on the next year is spread over the months to the renewal after that, usually 12, so your payments drop. The app shows your exact amounts.

We submit your renewal to NATIS once you are fully paid up and before your expiry date, and post the new disc to you. You get a notification at every step.

By courier to your registered address anywhere in South Africa, with a tracking number sent to you. The R99.00 delivery fee is charged by RTMC, not by us, and it is already included in the amount you are quoted. Nothing extra is payable when your disc arrives.

NATIS will not process a renewal while fines are outstanding. If a fine blocks your renewal we tell you straight away so you can settle it; settling it stays your responsibility. Your monthly payments keep building up in the meantime.

Yes, anytime from the app. Payments already made are not refunded as cash; they go towards your licence renewal, and if you cancel before the renewal is complete they stay in your account for future use.

It stays yours. Every payment goes into your EasyNatis wallet, and wallet money is only spent on a renewal once the full amount has been collected and the renewal has passed its checks. If we have not renewed the disc yet, the balance stays in your wallet when you cancel that vehicle's plan: put it towards another vehicle, or request a payout from your profile in the app, where the withdrawal fee is shown before you confirm. If we had already renewed the disc, that money was spent on the renewal and the disc goes with the car to its new owner. If the buyer also uses EasyNatis and takes the vehicle over, your balance stays with you, not with the car.

Yes. Scan the new disc in the app and choose the vehicle it replaces. We cancel the old plan, move everything you have saved onto the new one, and work out a new monthly amount from the new vehicle's licence fee and expiry date. If what you have saved is more than the new vehicle's year costs, your monthly payments pause until the balance has been used. Nothing you have paid is lost.

Yes. Payments run through Peach Payments, a PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant provider used across South Africa. We never store your full card details; Peach handles them.
